Biography:
Scott Wasserman, ISCC PDS, MPS, licensed and certified, is affectionately known as Mr. Terrier. He has become one of the foremost experts in hand-stripping terriers. His passion for pets combines his grooming expertise with his experience in dog shows.

He has been nominated for the Cardinal Crystal Achievement Awards multiple times, winning the Sympathy Award in 2001 and Judge of the Year in 2014. He has also received Barkleigh Honors for Speaker of the Year and Book of the Year. Scott also participates in dog shows as a breeder of Kerry Blue Terriers under the kennel name Kiluntin.

A seminar focused on the structure of the poodle. Scott Wasserman will guide you through the essential basics of anatomy, understanding lines and balance, and grooming techniques adapted to highlight the dog's structure. An enriching training to hone your eye and precision in cutting.
Seminar Saturday – 3pm to 5pm – Room 1: The Poodle: Structure, preparation and presentation
The poodle is one of the most popular and demanding breeds to groom. This seminar will allow participants to better understand the structure, proportions, and specific characteristics of the breed in order to improve their preparation and finishing techniques. Topics covered include: The structure and proportions of the poodle; Different cuts and their objectives; Coat preparation techniques; Scissor work to enhance the silhouette; Common mistakes and how to avoid them; Tips for achieving a more harmonious and professional finish. This training is ideal for groomers wishing to deepen their understanding of the poodle and improve the quality of their daily grooming.
Seminar Sunday 9am to 11am – Room 2: Sporting Group
This seminar focuses on grooming techniques for sporting group dogs, emphasizing improving coat quality and enhancing the dog's natural structure. Participants will learn how proper grooming can improve texture, balance, and overall presentation, while adhering to breed standards. Scott will demonstrate various techniques to highlight each dog's best features, including coat management, scissor work, and breed-specific finishing touches for sporting group dogs. This is an excellent opportunity to refine your skills and gain a deeper understanding of how grooming can enhance the appearance and structure of sporting group dogs.
